Day of the Dead

The Day of the Dead festival is celebrated in many cultures around the world, notably in Mexico and the Philippines. On All Saints Day, families flock to the graves of deceased loved ones to remember and to celebrate their lives. My Day of the Dead drawings celebrate the continuity of life, hence they are engaged in dance, romance, flirtation, and celebration. My artwork comes primarily from my imagination, although I do create images based on photographs and celebrities on request. Please check www.myspace.com/drawingsbymc for more drawings.
