Traditional Southwest
The Southwest invokes images not only of cowboys and horses but also of the Native American culture, especially prevalent in places like Santa Fe and Taos. This section is my tribute to the Native American influence in parts of New Mexico. My drawings in this area are influenced by Mimbres and other pueblo style artistry. At the same time, I infused my drawings with a touch of Asia by adopting the batik look in some pieces.
