One Time Special Offers

Offered in this page are one of a kind, one of one editions, and original paintings in elaborate frames.

I keep these pieces stored in my own home for safekeeping and to protect them from the damage, dust, and wear and tear that normally result from transporting large pieces to art shows. Nor is there room to display them on a daily basis inside my tiny studio in the Ramada Palms de Las Cruces.

These pieces have special significance for me. For example, "She of Life" is dedicated to women in their role as life giver, nurturer, and transmitter of cultural values and tradition. "Love Never Dies" harkens to the Mexican El Dia de los Muertos festival, celebrating the lives of those who have progressed to immortality in the spiritual realm. "Alien Nude" is my tongue in cheek accomodation of the apparently required nude painting every artist is expected to produce. On a serious note, artists of southern New Mexico seem to exist in the shadow of the more celebrated art havens, Santa Fe and Taos, hence my painting "The Shadow of Kokopelli". Its underlying message is that often, the perception is larger than the reality. And finally, the "Medieval Tree of Life" is a salute to my spiritual side. Here I am expressing optimism despite some of the complexities of our earthly existence.

If you would like to bid on any of these pieces, please contact me through my email:
